Esme and my brother had been in a long term relationship. She spent time with my family in Indianapolis as well as in Texas. Although they were no longer together Mitchell still felt a connection to her. He's in El Paso with Esme's family and other friends mourning this huge loss.
The Austin, TX police are still looking for her killer. I've been holding my daughter a little tighter and praying for this family every night. Please keep them in your thoughts.
