Blake's current obsession is drawing, not coloring with crayons, but drawing with a pencil. It is the only thing she wants to do. I've really been trying to get her outside everyday. If I want her to stay outside I have to bring the pencil and paper. She stands on the back porch and draws. Sometimes she wants to use chalk on the concrete. Not only does she want to draw, but she wants me to draw with her. She is always requesting a drawing of Daddy and Mommy. I can't say that drawing people is where I'm at artistically.
Since I didn't put up anything for Easter, I can't believe it, I'll catch you up. We had a great time. Blake was a lot of fun. She actually participated in the Easter egg hunt. She sat on the Easter Bunny's lap with no tears. She loved the whole day and we did too. Here are a bunch of pics to make up for my tardiness.
I'm working on the 2nd birthday party, which is turning into a way bigger deal than I originally planned. I can't help myself. The theme is Yo Gabba Gabba. If you don't know what that is, look it up. I promise you'll be scared and confused at the same time. I hate this show. Blake is enamored with these characters, so I caved. There will be way more about that in the future posts.
In things to look forward to, it's that yard work time of year. I get a little depressed when the weather gets warmer and I know I have to get to work in the yard. I hate it, it hates me. Why can't I just make it look nice! I did pay to have the mulch done this year, worth every penny.
In case you didn't know it's playoff time. Go Pacers! You better be cheering.
Until next time.
